A Love Letter to My Weary Daughter

A letter written from the perspective of the Father’s heart to you, His precious daughter

“Daughter I see the times where you strive and it can feel as if no one is looking. I understand that the mundane can feel anything but priceless but this is where I want you to find me in the midst. Find me in the midst of the suffering, the chaos, the mayhem. Remember that it’s in the broken places that I do My best work. I know you can feel anxious at times to get to the next place or phase in life but in this season I simply want you to be with Me. Come sit at My feet and learn from Me, for My burden is light and My yoke is easy. It is a time to shut out the distractions of the world and recenter your love and affection. For in Me only will true restoration come. In your wildest dreams you cannot imagine what I have prepared for you! Not just in Heaven but here during your stay on earth. This is a time to seek Me like never before, “Seek the Lord while He may be found.” (Isaiah 55:6) I have been calling to you, will you answer Me? It’s not just a cry that stems from your heart to be close to me, don’t you know that that cry was put in your heart by Me and Me alone? I am a jealous God and I have set aside and sanctified you for a unique purpose, but first and foremost I desire relationship with you.

Why do you pour out your love to so many empty cisterns but forget to pour your love into the One that not only truly matters but also has the ability to fill you in return. I will fill your cup so that you will never run dry. You will never be left wanting or without. I am your sustainer and I am more than enough. Because I am more than enough, in turn you are more than enough because I have deemed it and said it is so. You are precious in My sight. Never forget this. It is time to shut out the lies of the enemy and take your place back in my Kingdom at the front lines. I did not call you to be a solider in the back of the army line. Yes the battle is fierce but I have called you to the front because there is a war to be won. A war for souls and you have a part to play in it. I give my toughest assignments to my fiercest warriors but this is not the time to grow weary in well doing. I have seen you striving and your desire to please Me. Oh how beautiful this is in My sight! This is not a time to sit down but a time to fight like never before! There is a battle that needs to be won and you are needed at the front lines.

This is not for you to walk in fear for there is also great reward for those who choose to walk close to Me. I am not close to those who stand afar off. “He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6) This is your clarion call to get up and fight. You have been wondering if you were really chosen but today I am telling you that you are more than enough. You are more than a conquerer through He who gives you strength! I am strengthening you today for battle and this time will be different. You will wage the war and win. You will swing your sword and lift up your shield with a new fight of faith because you will know that it is I Myself that goes before You. This is not a battle for you to fight on your own for “Vengeance is Mine saith the Lord.” (Romans 12:17) This is a time to gird up your sword and fight but be encouraged because the battle is already won.”

About this note

Years ago I began writing prophetically the things that I felt God was speaking to my heart. It started out as love notes to friends and family, or simple text messages as I simply emptied myself and let the Holy Spirit flow through the words on the page. The Scripture / Word of God is the only true authority but we know that God will breathe upon us and anoint us to relay messages by His Spirit.

Years ago I woke up from a dream in the middle of the night. In the dream I had heard the Father speaking to me, “Write and tell My people that I love them. They need to know My heart and how much I love them.” It felt more like an assignment than a suggestion. I wanted to be obedient but never understood how it would come to pass until this season in my life. Be blessed as you allow the Father’s love to encounter and wash over you.
